Window Cleaning

Window Cleaning

Window Cleaning at Dirt2Clean is provided through 3 main delivery methods - traditional, powered access and water fed pole system. Current health and safety guidelines advise that the use of ladders shouldn't be an automatic first choice for window cleaning - alternatives should be considered such as powered access or water fed pole systems.

Traditional Window Cleaning

Traditional window cleaning is carried out using an applicator, squeegee and scrim with neutral detergent. This time tested method of window cleaning ensures the best results possible as operators are able to see and reach the entire window and frame area, thus ensuring more attention to detail. Traditional window cleaning can safely be carried out on windows at heights of up to 9 meters (29ft) using ladders.

Powered Access Window Cleaning

Our staff are trained to use a range of powered access including mobile booms, mobile vertical booms, mobile elevated working platforms (MEWP) and cradles. When using powered access you get all the benefits of traditional window cleaning at heights over 9 metres (24ft).

Water Fed Pole System

Our state of the art water fed pole system allows us to safely clean windows, frames and fascias at heights up to 60ft from ground level, leaving them clean and streak free as well as maintaining your privacy. Water fed pole systems work without any harmful cleaning chemicals, instead the system delivers a stream of de-ionised (purified) water to the end of a pole. The pole is equipped with a nylon brush head which is used to clean off debree and scrub clean the window, frame or fascia. The window area is then rinsed with the stream of de-ionised water. As the purified water has no more than 10 particles per million the windows dry streak and spot free.
